At noon, observant passersby noticed smoke coming from the roof of a building equipped with solar panels and alerted the fire department. Firefighters from Winnweiler and Münchweiler responded to the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders determined that the light smoke was caused by a defective hose in the system, so no intervention by the fire department was necessary. The owner was informed of the damage, after which all personnel were able to return to their stations.
